About Rainbow Harvest Farm

John and Peg Thaman moved to Liberty, Kentucky in 2002 from Ohio with a dream in their hearts to start a farm. It was not family or friends that drew them there, but the beauty of the land. Since their arrival, the community has not only welcomed them but has been very supportive and excited about their dream as well.

Rainbow Harvest Farm started with a small patch of blackberries and has now grown into a large berry operation that also includes raspberries, strawberries and blueberries.

With Peg's background in alternative and preventitive medicine, berries seemed the logical choice as it is well documented that they are among the healthiest foods on the planet. For John, the farm is a full circle event as he will tell you his first job at twelve years old was working on a strawberry farm.

It wasn't long before they realized that their customers were hungry for berry products even after picking season was over, so their jam and jelly line was created to fill that need.

In January 2009 they launched their website www.rainbowharvestfarm.net and have had customers from all over the country. Additionally, they also do private labeling for Bed and Breakfasts and are proud to be part of the C.A.P. program that benefits the Applachian community. Nothing makes them happier than to see and hear about people enjoying the "fruits of their labor". Their mission has always been to provide nutrient rich, fresh fruit through earth honoring, natural practices and of course to always "Look For The Rainbow" in all that they do.

Rainbow Harvest Farm has something for everyone.  Currently, we have four acres of blueberries, one-half acre of blackberries, several hundred raspberry bushes and three thousand strawberry plants.

You are invited to pick your own or we will pick for you.

While you are here, feel free to visit our customer center where you will find a variety of jams and jellies.  Our preserves are all handcrafted by us using only berries grown right here on our farm.

Our Mission:  Provide nutrient rich, fresh fruit through earth honoring, natural practices.

Owners:  Peg and John Thaman
